The typical fee assessed for speaking engagements is $200
This amount reflects preparation time, travel time, and the actual presentation time. In all, about two hours is expected to be spent (at minimum) to provide a quality seminar. The fee reflects a significant discount from Steve's regular office fee and is done so in order to help many more people receive important information.
Additional requirements or restrictions may apply regarding the minimum number of attendees and cut off dates for registrations. A priority for Steve is to balance work committments with family time because most speaking engagements take time away from his personal responsiblities at home.
